Boiler Demineralized Water System
  There are strict water quality requirements for water used as the working medium and cooling medium of the thermal system in the water steam cycle system of thermal power plant. For example, the high pressure boiler feed water not only requires low hardness, but also requires very little dissolved oxygen, solid content and organic matter content. The water that does not meet the water supply standard will make the power plant equipment unable to operate safely and economically. Therefore, various water quality indicators for thermal power plants have been formulated.   The make-up water of the power plant often comes from surface water, groundwater, coastal areas and areas lacking fresh water, and also uses seawater as the make-up water source. These water must be subject to sedimentation, filtration, desalination, degassing and other treatment before entering the water circulation system of the power plant.
  In the membrane treatment system, the ultrafiltration used as pretreatment generally uses hollow fiber with a diameter of 1mm to remove suspended solids and colloids from raw water. The biggest problem of UF used as pretreatment is membrane pollution and membrane hole blockage. Therefore, prefilters are often set up in front to remove large particle size suspended solids. Adding flocculants before prefiltration, such as PAC (Polypropylene Dilute Acid), can improve filtering water quality and reduce membrane resistance. The dissolved oxygen required for the boiler make-up water system of the power plant is generally less than 0.3 mg/L. Therefore, the degassing film should be operated at a vacuum degree lower than 5.33Kpa (40TORR).
