Multi Medium Filter
  The multi-media filter is commonly known as the mechanical filter. The mechanical filter is filled with anthracite and quartz sand of various specifications. It is mainly used to intercept the suspended solids, colloids, most of the silt and sediment in the water after dosing and flocculation, and further reduce the SDI value of the water. Make the SDI value in the outlet water meet the inlet water requirements of the reverse osmosis system. Extend the cleaning cycle and service life of the system. The design flow rate of the mechanical filter is 7-9m/s, and the working pressure is generally less than 0.6MPa. Both the upper and lower parts are equipped with water diversion and collection devices. The upper water distribution device is mainly used to prevent the water column from directly rushing into the sand layer and causing the sand layer to be disordered, thus failing to achieve the expected filtering effect. The water collection device is mainly used to prevent the fine sand from leaking to the subsequent equipment. The material and specification of the operating valve group on the equipment can meet the water requirements and service life of the system. Conditional users can also set an air scrubbing device to increase the backwashing effect and thus reduce water consumption. Generally, mechanical filters with smaller sizes and diameters are not equipped with air scrubbing, which is mainly for large equipment.
  Backwashing strength shall make the filter layer expand by 15-25%.
  Under normal use, the turbidity of water produced by fine sand filter is less than 1 degree.   The filling height is 1200-1500mm. Generally, quartz sand is replaced once every two years. During replacement, the internal devices of the equipment shall be cleaned with clean water.
Equipment Manufacturing Requirements:
  a. The equipment shall be lined with one layer of acid resistant rubber, the thickness of the rubber lining shall not be less than 3mm, the rubber lining shall be complete without pinholes, can accept 12000~9000 V spark test without breakdown, and shall be extended to the external flange junction surface.   b. All internal pipelines shall be connected to the body by flanges, and the convenience of maintenance and component replacement shall be considered. The materials of internal components shall meet the specified requirements, and the fasteners shall be equivalent to the materials of internal pipe fittings.   c. The internal parts shall be fixed and reinforced to withstand the impact of water flow.   d. The material for equipment peeping is transparent and corrosion resistant, and its thickness should be able to withstand the design pressure of the container and the test pressure during the test. The inner surface of the sight glass shall be flush with the inner surface of the container. The sight glass is set symmetrically. Lighting feet are also provided.   e. The manhole of the container shall ensure the access of maintenance personnel and replacement parts. The inner surface of the manhole and manhole cover shall be flush with the inner surface of the container. The manhole shall be equipped with a complete set of manhole covers, washers, bolts, nuts and lifting rods.   f. The water and gas distribution of water inlet, air inlet, water collecting and gas collecting devices inside the equipment shall be uniform without bias.   g. All internal devices, pipe fittings, components, etc. of the container shall be installed and fixed in the container before shipment to prevent missing parts and damage or loss during transportation.   H. Except for special needs, all internal and external parts of the equipment shall not be made of any plastic material, and the material shall be equivalent to the anti-corrosion grade of the equipment.   i. The equipment shall be provided with feet.
