Activated Carbon Filter
  After being filtered by the fine sand filter, the colloidal organics in the water can generally be removed by 60-80%, and the remaining 20-40% colloidal and dissolved organics must be adsorbents. Activated carbon is the main adsorbent widely used in the water treatment adsorption method, so the use of activated carbon filter is economical and convenient. When the organic matter content in the water is large, chlorine can also be added to remove about 80% of the organic matter. The amount of added organic matter should make the residual active chlorine more than 0.5PPm. However, various membrane elements have high requirements for the residual chlorine in the influent, generally less than 0.15PPm.   There are two main functions:   1. Adsorption of some organic substances in water;   2. Adsorption of residual chlorine in water. Removal of residual chlorine by activated carbon is not simply adsorption, but catalysis on its surface. Therefore, activated carbon is not only a problem of full adsorption, but also a problem of carbon loss.   After fine sand filtration and activated carbon adsorption, the effluent has basically met the two requirements for water inflow of RO unit:   SDI≤4; Residual chlorine ≤ 0.1mg/L
Equipment Manufacturing Requirements :
  a. The equipment shall be lined with one layer of acid resistant rubber, the thickness of the rubber lining shall not be less than 3mm, the rubber lining shall be complete without pinholes, can accept 12000~9000 V spark test without breakdown, and shall be extended to the external flange junction surface.
  b. All internal pipelines shall be connected to the body by flanges, and the convenience of maintenance and component replacement shall be considered. The materials of internal components shall meet the specified requirements, and the fasteners shall be equivalent to the materials of internal pipe fittings.   c. The internal parts shall be fixed and reinforced to withstand the impact of water flow.   d. The material for equipment peeping is transparent and corrosion resistant, and its thickness should be able to withstand the design pressure of the container and the test pressure during the test. The inner surface of the sight glass shall be flush with the inner surface of the container. The sight glass is set symmetrically. Lighting feet are also provided.   e. The manhole of the container shall ensure the access of maintenance personnel and replacement parts. The inner surface of the manhole and manhole cover shall be flush with the inner surface of the container. The manhole shall be equipped with a complete set of manhole covers, washers, bolts, nuts and lifting rods.   f. The water and gas distribution of water inlet, air inlet, water collecting and gas collecting devices inside the equipment shall be uniform without bias.   g. All internal devices, pipe fittings, components, etc. of the container shall be installed and fixed in the container before shipment to prevent missing parts and damage or loss during transportation.   H. Except for special needs, all internal and external parts of the equipment shall not be made of any plastic material, and the material shall be equivalent to the anti-corrosion grade of the equipment.   i. The equipment shall be provided with feet.
